A place you would expect to be forward-thinking and progressive in its treatment of all people, regardless of race, economic status, and cognitive ability. But you would be wrong. Prejudice against the mentally challenged is strong in that community. Read her account of the story and see if it doesn’t just infuriate you like it did me.
