Massage Oil Doesn’t Get Easier Than This
Only two ingredients and voila – Massage Oil for your baby (and you).
Not only are there only two ingredient needed for this basic baby massage oil, there is a good chance you already have it in your home. Yes, really! I love making my own simply because as beneficial as massages are for babies and adults alike, it seems counterproductive to use products that may cause harm to your little one. For example, why use mineral oil and a fragrance that is unidentifiable when you can not only play with a number of natural essential oils but reap their benefits as well. Did you know lavender oil can help soothe a colicky baby?
Okay, here we go – the easiest homemade baby massage oil ever, aaaaand GO…
Steps to Making Homemade Baby Massage Oil
- Organic EVOO
- Organic Lavender oil (2-3 drops per 2 tablespoons of evoo)
Steps (if you can even call them ‘steps’)
- Mix the above ingredients, shake it up.
- Enjoy the massage and bonding time with your baby.
Final Thoughts on EVOO Baby Massage Oil
You can build on the recipe above by using essential oils like Rosemary or Grapefruit Seed Extract. I am really in love the the bare-bones recipe above but I may end up playing around with some recipe alterations, in which case I will, of course, do a write up. Eventually… So many blog ideas, so little time!
