Happy Easter, Happy Birthday
Christ our Lord is risen today! Allelulia!
Like most parents, I washed and polished the children (at least the ones small enough to not protest too violently) and made them line up for pictures. I took about 20 pictures and came of with one that is not great, but it will do. So here’s my crew on this Easter morning!

And then DD3 stopped to smell the flowers by the mailbox:

And last (and hopefully not most importantly) our kittens Butterscotch and Spook turned one today. Which is 16 in cat-years, or something like that. Which explains why Butter has become so darned ornery and grumpy. Anyway, here they are in front of their cake. I don’t think they appreciated the icing we wiped on their noses in an attempt to make them try their cake!

The cats got a cake? Oh, well. Hey if you want another - I just uploaded some pics of our brand new babies; they were born Saturday the 15th at 11:00, 11:15, 12:30 and 12:45.

Thanks all!
Yes, the cats got a cake. It’s nuts, I know. If they were just mine, the probably wouldn’t have, but they are DS11 and DS13’s kittens, so they wanted to celebrate their birthday, just like we do for DS15’s burping Golden Retriever. And with 5 pets and 5 kids, I think I’ll pass on the offer for another. Although if I saw them in real life, I’d probably take one. I can’t resist kittens and puppies. (Hence the 5 pets!)

ChewyMom I’ll make you feel better about the pets:
five children and one on the way
five cats (three very old) and four new kittens (oops!)
one large German Shepherd mix
a bird
two hamsters
a salt water aquarium
the snake died last summer
Crazy? methinks I am. I hope you feel better about the number of multi-legged creatures you have.
