We finally succumbed to cell phones, about a year and a half ago. . . And while we don't have satellite or cable, we do have our blockbuster online and high speed internet. (I'll tighten the belt in many areas before I go back to dialup, as long as I'm in the states!) I did think about stopping our fios internet and just getting online at coffee shops. But I think that would be even more costly! *grin*

But you are right. . . so many expenses--and so many are "subscription" type services and not one-shot-deals.

(Though, my electric bill for Jan was nearly 1/3 of what it is in July! Woohoo! I feel rich!)
