And while we don't have satellite or cable, we do have our blockbuster online and high speed internet. (I'll tighten the belt in many areas before I go back to dialup, as long as I'm in the states!) I did think about stopping our fios internet and just getting online at coffee shops. But I think that would be even more costly! *grin* But you are right. . . so many expenses--and so many are "subscription" type services and not one-shot-deals.
