I’ve been dreading this but I’ve missed you. I may not have a big following, that is not what I am after, but I love the gals that check in on Chewy and the Bee (and of course the Bossy). I dreaded this because it’s been a long while since I’ve made contact. Halloween, to be exact.
Since October I’ve been blindsided by a dreaded moment of the “ghost dad” which left me mentally paralyzed for, what seems like, weeks. I fought many-a-nap-battle and lost tremendously proving that sleep deprived, puffy eyed, zombie moms exist 2.5 years later too. I’ve had a crash course in Alzheimers and dementia care with a surprise visit from granny who typically stays with an aunt who is much better equipped to care for her needs than I am (firstly, she has no needy, bossy toddlers) but is out of the country for the moment. Needless to say, it’s been a trying few months.
So here I am, again. It’s the holiday finale week and we are up on the eve of Channukah & Christmas. With all that warmth in mind, I wanted to reach out to you gals to wish you a warm a wonderful holiday season. May our 2017 be blessed and open to all good things that await us.
Oh, and if you’re down in the dumps (like me) this cheery time of year, don’t worry — you’re not alone. Meditate, yogatate, and vedge out when necessary. This coming year may we really stop caring what others think without losing sight of our good hearts. May our blind eye be turned to helping people in need from all walks of life and be selfless in your random acts of kindness. And with a whole lot of help (at least this rings true for me) may we work on being kinder, gentler, and much more patient as we close in on 2016.
Thank you, dear friends, for being here. Please, come back soon!
Cheers to health, joy & peace!!! See you in 2017!!!
