A man in the grocery store check-out line who seemed shocked by the amount of groceries I was buying, and even more shocked at the number of mouths I feed!

In our years with eight we’ve run the gamet with such comments. Children are indeed a blessing. But jerks need Jesus to see it; we’re all jerks in some way.

You know, when they guy said that, I just burst out laughing. I guess you had to be there and hear his country accent and all, but it struck me as so darned funny! I’m used to my freak-status….

that is pretty funny. people say whatever they want, huh??? i would think it but maybe not say it out loud and i only have one child..heheh

I thought that was kind of funny, but on the other hand, 5 kids really isn’t that bad! I grew up with 3 siblings, and yes, we spent a lot on groceries every other week, but maybe it was a different time? My parents were brave, too. They took us to the grocery store with them most of the time…
