DD3 asked me this, which actually surprised me because I’ve never cared for my speaking voice–it sounds very “nerdy” to me. I asked her what she meant and why my voice was beautiful. She replied, “I don’t know….Well, it is because you were a beautiful bride!” So I guess the cure for a less-than-beautiful speaking voice is to just get married!!
