What is, “Yeah, but if I’m tardy, then I get to go into the office and see everyone!”
DS16, explaining the benefits of being tardy to his first period class. Ahhhh, now all of those tardies are starting to make sense to me. He sees it as a big plus–getting to go to the office, greeting and being greeted by the office workers, visiting for a few minutes, and then leisurely strolling to his class, not having missed much.

I love it…..Mr. Social needs his morning ‘fix’….I would too, as visiting with others and a nice stroll is MUCH better than sitting in first period,being bored and waiting for the day to begin. Smart young man you have there!
