I opened the door to the refrigerator to see this on the bottom shelf. Yes, it’s a paper plate with crumbs and a fork, and beside it a mostly-eaten container of Pringles, all on top of my vegetables. And I just have to ask…why???

Hi! I am Mary Smith, another Christian mom. I found your blog under Christian mom blogs (google). I’m on the hunt for such blogs. Wow! I admire the size of your family!

One of the drawbacks of our “modified open fridge policy” is the perpetual disorganized condition of my fridge. Seriously, I don’t know how much repetition (or messes cleaned up) that it will take for them to learn that lids need to be put back on jam jars, condiments take up less space if put on the door, and please don’t squish the produce!
I’ve settled for pulling out the gross stuff while putting in the new stuff, lectures on not wasting food, being content that they make mostly healthy food choices, and thankful that the Lord provides abundantly for our kitchen.
